Roman bridge
The bridge was part of the western Roman road “to Tibula Sulcis” that connected various centers of the region. It underwent radical restorations during the Middle Ages, but the foundations of the Roman piles remain intact. In origin, the bridge developed on 24 arches, 10 of which were destroyed in the 1930s during the reclamation of the pond.
